Music plays an important role in the development of each individual. Research suggests that playing a musical instrument helps to enhance the concentration skills and the co-ordination of children, skills which are relevant throughout their lives and which are transferable to other areas of learning.Performance, the application of the learning of Music, allows students to express themselves using a new and different medium and encourages them to communicate their emotions and imagination through their instrument. Performance skills are not learned overnight. The confidence and composure of a Year 12 performer is often the culmination of many years of quiet practice and many opportunities to control the nerves associated with performing. Each year, SBIS,Pakho Kalan provides students with the opportunity to develop their performance skills in a safe environment by conducting a programme of concerts and performances. These include the Annual Function, the School Assembly, Festival celebrations and many more events.

For those students wishing to enhance their acting skills, the SBIS, Pakho Kalan Theatrical Society provides a vehicle for building confidence and developing play building skills.These students meet each week to be involved in improvisation activities and to build their understanding of performance.

Debating and Public Speaking opportunities exist for students. These students are coached by an experienced staff member who assists them to develop their debating and public speaking skills.The children learn about preparing and delivering a speech, growing in self confidence with each effort.

Art & craft is a subject which is enjoyed the most in the school premises. Children who study in the primary sections of the school, cheerfully elbow deep in the classes of any art and craft segment. Young people often find it interesting to indulge in such classes, because they learn new things in an innovative way.

4.EDP - Entrepreneurship Development Program : In today’s era when jobs are at scarcity, EDP is surely an answer to the needs of the market. Our children learn about - how to start a business, how to make a business plan, how to run a company and much more.
5.Safety Club : The Safety Club is created with the aim of spreading awareness and promote the importance and criticality of safety in all walks of life. The objective is to instil a sense of responsibility in the students regarding their own and their near one's safety, to bring to their knowledge importance of road, school, medical, environmental and emotional safety.
6.SBIS bank : It is a mock bank drill that w have adapted at school to provide students with basic knowledge about savings, income, Pan Card, bank accounts and much more. Children mock as managers and clerk , and handle and exchange currencies.
7.SBIS Court of honours : It is easy to blame anyone for a wrong judgement, but it is truly difficult to be in the shoes of a judge. At SBIS our student have a rule book and a policy of declaring a child guilty of a wrong deed, here friends decide of what is wrong and what is not.
